Women Health - A Burning Issue

A woman is the foundation of a household. She is the strength provider and whole sole caretaker. She requires being physically fit always to take special care of her family and enjoying strength to undertake daily activities with ease.

Health of a woman is very important. she needs to be fit always to take undertake different activities such as taking care of her child, helping them with school work, finish day to day kitchen core, cleaning work and a lot more.

Unfortunately, women health is not given much importance in most parts of the world. This is also the reason that death rate of a woman during her youth and child bearing stages is higher.

There are several things a woman can do to keep herself healthy. Here are certain tips to help women keep herself in a healthy state at every stage of her life:

Diet Routine

This is the most important factor to consider. A woman should given importance to her health. To ensure this, a proper diet regime should be followed. The first and foremost to be considered to remain healthy and fit is to pay proper attention towards her diet.

As we all know, it should start with balance. An average woman should consume around 2000 calories on a daily basis. This is important to keep her going and undertaking all kinds of rigorous activities without any problem. A balanced diet should consist of requisite quantity of protein, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates.

Stay away from high unhealthy fats

Eating right is the key to keep yourself healthy. Eating healthy fats in right quantity is important. However, it is equally important to stay aloof of consuming high quantities of unhealthy fats. High fat food is known to develop a feeling of fatigue, excessive laziness and sleepiness during the day.

This also leads to many diseases including heart problems such as heart attack, stroke, high levels of bad cholesterol or LDL and a lot more. Include right amount of healthy fat in your diet. Using extra virgin olive oil in cooking will help you do so.

Fruits and Vegetables

Replace high fat foods with foods rich in fiber. These include raw fruits, salads, and a lot of other things. Also focus on adding a lot of color to food. Including yellow, red, green, purple and orange will help you a lot in this regard.

These foods contain antioxidants and are rich in minerals and essential vitamins. These are also rich in fiber. It is important to flush harmful toxins out of the body and keep metabolism healthy.

Water

Drink plenty of water. This is extremely important for women health. This is the best way to keep the metabolism healthy and kicking.

Water also plays an important role in flushing harmful toxins from the body. It keeps the skin glowing and body healthy.

Green tea and tomatoes


Green tea is rich in antioxidants whereas tomatoes are rich in lycopene. Lycopene is an anti-ageing element that helps in keeping wrinkles and other signs of ageing at bay. Antioxidants in green tea keep the body weight balanced.
