* Agricultural Chemicals

Animals are higher on food chain. Hence, animal foods will have higher amounts of chemical concentrations as compared to plant foods.

* Exposure to livestock drugs

More than about twenty thousand drugs such as antibiotics, growth related hormones and veterinary drugs are offered to livestock animals.

These drugs are regularly consumed by us each time we consume animal foods.

* Shelf life differential




It is no secret that plant foods have more shelf life as compared to animal foods.
