If you want to follow the organic food diet programme, then remember to avoid herbs and spices while seasoning your food, since they are non-organic and not as good for your health.

Hence, you need to avoid non organic sauces and products that are made with soya beans.

2. Remember to wash the organic produce:

While it is true that chemicals and pesticides are not used for growing organic produce, we cannot say that fertilizers and pesticides are not used at all.

Hence, it is always good to wash the organic produce so that they are clear of any kind of residues.

By washing them, you will also be able to get rid of contaminants that settle on food while transporting them. However, remember to wash them with tap water.

This is because tap water contains a lot of chlorine and some contaminants which are good for cleaning the produce.

3. Remember to cook in pans that are galvanized steel, aluminium, copper and tin plated steel:

There is every chance that while cooking, your cooking pan releases contaminants into the food that you are preparing. Hence it is advisable to select stainless steel cookware and porcelain.

4. Use Microwave oven:

You must learn to avoid the microwave. This kills all the nutrients present in the organic food.
