Facing problems regarding hair loss – Go “Herbal”

Are you facing problems related to baldness for quite a long time and not getting the right solution? Maybe, it’s time for you to switch to some herbal remedies now! They are obviously liked by many people mainly because they provide an effective support to the body naturally and do not have any side effects.

Admittedly, they do not work miraculously fast, but they bring a ray of hope to people with hair loss issues. There are many herbal remedies that can be used effectively against hair loss.

1. Ginkyo biloba is an important herbal remedy. It restores the blood circulation to the skin and brain. Because of the increased blood flow to the areas of brain, more nutrients reach the hair follicle and help them regrow.

2. Green tea or Camellia sinesis taken in form of a drink or capsules are believed to work up to a great extent in preventing hair loss, chiefly in males. The cathechins present in green tea block the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase which has a great role to play in converting testosterone into DHT, a harmful thing for hair.

3. Saw palmetto is another herbal remedy that is recommended and can be taken in the form of 1609 mg capsules. It protects the prostate gland and thereby slows down the hair loss and helps in retention of hair.

4. Pygeum is one more herbal remedy that is a derivative of the bark of an evergreen. It works in the same way as green tea. It can be taken in form of pills or capsules as per the recommended dosage of 60 to 500mg. This pill is mostly taken by males. These are used in treating prostate problems as well.

5. He Shou Wu, also called as FoTi, is an herb of Chinese origin and works to diminish hair loss. It is available in capsule, tea and many more commercial preparations.

6. Stinging nettle is another remedy against hair loss. It thwarts the formation of DHT from testosterone. It should not be taken more than a dosage of 50-100mg per day. It is available in the form of a capsule or pill.
A combination of stinging nettle with saw palmetto and pygeum is a very effective solution against hair loss.

7. Another very important herbal preparation is Provillus. Both men as well as women use this herbal remedy. For men, provillus works by blocking DHT from getting into your body. For women, provillus acts by supplying important nutrition to the hair follicles, thus bringing them back to life.

8. Olive oil is an effective remedy against baldness. You can use it to massage the scalp and hair. It lifts the dirt from your hair by unclogging pores. It nourishes the strands by providing moisture and protects them from breakage.

Other than using all these enlisted herbal remedies, you have to ensure that you are leading a proper lifestyle. Take an ample amount of protein food. Cystine, methionine, lysine, cysteine and arginine are the proteins that are necessary in hair growth.

Protein is important for hair growth because it is made up of amino acids which are required in building of new cells. Meat, eggs, soy, grains, fish, poultry, dairy products, nuts and seeds are great sources of nutritional protein.

Start your treatment today and improve the condition of your strands.
