You dream yourself a mommy?

Well, besides a balanced lifestyle combined with sport, the experts advise us to eat some food that is claimed to stimulate fertility.





           

So, leave out the fries, burgers, cookies and fill your plate with:

Vegetal proteins 
Peas, green beans, peanuts - here some food associated with the increase of fertility.

The proteins given by these plants are much helpful than the ones from red meat, for instance, for the women who want to become mothers.

There is no need to become vegetarian, but try to limit the amount of meat, especially the red one, and to consume as much vegetal aliments as possible. 



Fresh fruits and vegetables 

If we talk about vegetal food, is there any need to explain the importance of the 4 portions of fresh fruits and vegetables a day?

Is there any need to remind the amount of antioxidants that they contain?

Or to remind you the nutrients that are essential for the body for a well-functioning?

Eat an apple, a bunch of grapes, a few cranberries, raspberry, salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, anything, but don't let a day pass without eating any fruit or vegetable. 



Whole wheat cereals
 


There is everywhere information about which are the benefits brought by grains, but how many of us knew that they influence also the fertility?


Well, whole-wheat bread, brown rice, oatmeal and corn don't affect the sugar level form the blood like refined carbs; they are healthy and reestablish the hormonal balance. 



Unskimmed dairies 

Avoid shelves with skimmed dairies because they don't have enough nutrients.


According to a study made at Harvard University, women who consume fat dairies have less ovulating disorders, comparative with the ones that are focused on skimmed dairies.

Not to mention that dairies contain calcium, a very important nutrient in fertility.



The right fats:

Monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and omega 3
 Say NO to Trans and saturated fats and YES to the monounsaturated and polyunsaturated ones.

Also include fat acids like Omega 3 and here is how you can reduce the inflammation in your body and, moreover, you will increase the sensitivity at insulin.

You find them in avocado, nuts, sesame, pumpkin seeds, salmon and sardines.
 

So, stick to these rules in your diet, add some sport, like Pilates or yoga, quit smoking, coffee and alcohol and take care about your mental health at the same time.

They don’t work one without the other.
